Welcome to my wee corner of the internet, where fun weddings, epic confetti and joyful photography collide…
I’m here to capture your memories, all the feeling and reactions as well as any wee details that you might miss on your big (or maybe small) day.
With 150+ weddings under my belt, I know how to read a room, disappear into the background, and still come back with a gallery full of moments that'll make you cry.
But most importantly, I’m there to capture your personalities and the essence of your day, because no two weddings are the same, so your wedding photography shouldn’t be either!

Eh, did I mention that I’m the QUEEN of candid shots?
That means no awkwardly forced poses here, just genuine, unfiltered memories captured as your day happens around me.
I'm a quiet & calm presence with a big camera and (allegedly) decent dance moves. My job is to protect the feeling of your day, not manage it into submission. I'll keep things moving, gently guide your couples portraits so they feel natural rather than mortifying, and otherwise let the magic and the realness of the day do its thing.
In practice, that means group shots (ya know, the ones that end up on Auntie Jean’s mantlepiece) done quickly and painlessly, couple portraits that feel more like a wee wander than a formal photoshoot, and everything else? I'm just there, watching. No interrupting moments, no pulling you away from your people for hours on end — just me noticing all the things you'll be too busy enjoying to catch yourself.
And when you get your gallery back, those are usually the ones that make you cry.
Lou really helped us to relax and be ourselves, whilst gently directing us to make the most of the light and drama our venue had to offer, resulting in some incredible pictures - capturing our joy whilst avoid any awkward posing!

I am committed to supporting LGBTQIA+ causes which is why Lou Rob Photo makes a monthly donation to LGBT Youth Scotland which has been working for over 20 years creating safe spaces where LGBTQ+ young people can flourish; reaching their full potential in life, work and education.
I’m always open to supporting other local charities that are doing great work for young people - hit me up if you know of others that might need support whether that be monetary or in other ways!

The perfect way to meet up and get to know each other before the big day. Plus, you get some practice in front of the camera and get to see that it’s not so scary!

All my packages now include travel within mainland Scotland - YAY! If you’re getting hitched on an island though, I’ll add on my ferry fair but don’t ever worry about my accommodation costs - I don’t have any because I travel by campervan!

All your photos will be delivered in a personalised online gallery to download and share. But I’m a big believer in making sure we have physical copies of our memories. Galleries all come with access to a print store, but if you’d like something a bit more boujee, we can chat albums & get designing.

Hey, look, my full day covers 10 hours and for most that’s enough, but if you’d like me to stay late, I can do that. I can’t promise I won’t turn into a pumpkin at midnight though…

STEP 3
When you’re ready to make it official I can send you over your booking documents. To secure your date I need three things from you - a completed booking form, a signed contract and a 25% deposit. Then we’re good to go!
